Activate improvement via digitalization

Motivated by their entrepreneurial passion, our client is leading a digital transformation of their company and within this framework is looking for all the leverage necessary which could lead to new digital means, processes, etc.

One of the major French sites is the pilot for an experiment on the functional scope of a quality control laboratory. The aim is to validate the increase in mobility for the technicians as a result of digitalization.
This initial phase is the precursor for industrialization of mobility over all the control laboratories in the group.

A « User-Friendly » Web layer

SPC suggested implementing an intranet web application on top of the existing LIMS system. This architecture would then enable using both the strengths of this system (data model, processing and validation workflow) and at the same time bring a new mobile and ergonomic design for technician interaction.
The « User eXperience » concept was at the heart of the project procedure led by SPC.

A validated prototype and technicians onboard

The first version is in production and the second will complete it in the months to come.

The positive outcomes are already visible, as much in the reduction in photocopies as reducing the time for data entry by scanning the barcode using the tablet. The lab technicians are now able to fully profit from all the « Any Where Any Time » information.
